If you go 63 days or more in a row without a Medicare drug plan or other creditable coverage, you may have to pay a late enrollment penalty. Your coverage will begin January 1 of the following year. When and how do you enroll?įrom October 15 and December 7, anyone can join, switch or drop a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan.
